KW West Flemish Ambassador

Each year, De Krant van West-Vlaanderen seeks out the West Flemish Ambassadors. A West Flemish Ambassador is a person or organization who embodies and promotes West Flanders—those whose dedication, achievements, or social contributions shine a positive spotlight on the province. They represent the very best of West Flanders, making us, as West Flemings, justifiably proud.

In addition to the main West Flemish Ambassador, ambassadors are also chosen in the categories of Bedrijvig West-Vlaanderen and Warm West-Vlaanderen. Winners are selected through a combination of a category-specific jury and public votes, and the laureates are honored during an award show.

With this election, KW aims to showcase the province’s wealth of talent, entrepreneurial spirit and warmth, celebrating people and organizations who put West Flanders positively on the map both nationally and internationally.
