Every Municipality Has Its ‘Krak’!

Every year, De Krant van West-Vlaanderen highlights ordinary people with extraordinary stories through the title of KW Krak. These are residents of West Flanders who have accomplished something remarkable or delivered an outstanding performance the previous year, making a real difference.

The selection of a Krak in each municipality is done through a combination of public voting and a jury selection. Every year, the 62 Kraks are celebrated at a festive event.

This election aims to honor the warm, supportive, and enterprising residents of West Flanders.
