Roularta Media Group strengthens commercial leadership with the appointment of Thijs Naeyaert as CCO

Roularta Media Group (RMG) proudly announces the appointment of Thijs Naeyaert as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Starting 1 January 2026, Thijs will take charge of all local and national advertising teams of RMG in Belgium and the Netherlands.

This strategic decision comes at a time of major shifts in the advertising landscape, where brands and advertisers increasingly seek integrated, creative and multimedia solutions. By bringing the commercial teams in Belgium and the Netherlands under a single leadership, RMG aims to offer clients an even stronger and more coherent proposition — including content and data — across all platforms: print, digital, audio, video, TV and events.

With Thijs’s appointment, RMG aims to further strengthen its position as a leading Benelux media group. Integrating all advertising teams will make it possible to share expertise and data, accelerate innovation and offer advertisers a unique 360° approach.

Thijs Naeyaert (1986), Bachelor in Business Management (Artevelde Hogeschool), began his career at RMG 18 years ago as Account Manager at Roularta Local Media (RLM) Roeselare. Since then, he has held various roles: Director Midden West-Vlaanderen, Provincial Director West-Vlaanderen, Regional Director West and East Flanders, Commercial Director RLM & Managing Director De Krant van West-Vlaanderen, and eventually Managing Director RLM.
