Data News CIO of the year

The Data News CIO of the Year is an annual award recognizing the most influential and visionary Chief Information Officers (CIOs) in Belgium. The winner is selected through a combination of editorial nominations and a public vote, with the public contributing 40% to the final result. This decision is then validated by a professional jury composed of ICT experts, academics, and former winners.

This prestigious prize honors CIOs who stand out due to their strategic vision, leadership, and ability to leverage technology as a driver of business strategy. The event also serves as a key networking and knowledge-sharing occasion for the entire Belgian ICT community.

Additionally, two IT Projects of the Year are awarded. These projects are evaluated by the jury based on criteria including innovation, originality, technical quality, strategic importance for the company, team management, internal communication, and adherence to deadlines. These projects can be Belgian or international but must be led by Belgian companies. The goal is to highlight initiatives that truly transform IT and create value.
